I hope everyone has had a great holiday and are now ready and raring to go for the Autumn term. I am looking forward to working with the children; to see them grow and flourish, both as learners and as people.
It’s going to be a very busy term as we have lots of hard work to get through. I expect the children to rise to the challenge and we will be developing our skills to become more independent learners. In Class 3 we have high expectations! More importantly though, we aim to have fun whilst we learn. Please see the curriculum newsletter for more information about our learning journey this term. If you have any expertise or resources you are able to share with Class 3 to support our curriculum please let me know.
Our class motto will be: ‘Work hard, play hard’ and we shall certainly be doing lots of both!!
As the oldest pupils in school, Class 3 will be excellent role models for the rest of the children at Kneesall. They will demonstrate an exemplary work ethic and behaviour to the younger children and be encouraged to take an active role in all aspects of school life. This will develop their self- esteem and British values.
We have a great team of adults at school to work with the children. In order for us to do our best we must all work as a team. If everyone does their bit; teachers, teaching assistants, children and parents then we will have done our very best. If you ever have any concerns or worries, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Here’s to a successful Autumn term.
