Welcome to the Spring Term

A few things to note:

• Please send your child to school with a named water bottle each day.
• Doves1 PE days will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Please label all of your child's clothing, especially PE kit and jumpers!
• Your child should bring a spare pair of underwear and bottoms in a separate bag if you feel they may require these, the bag can hang on your child's peg for if and when they need them.

Homework will include:

• Spellings - (these are linked to class learning). These will be issued on the school website each Friday. They will be tested on the following Friday. 
• Reading - (when an adult at home has listened to your child read, please record this in their reading diary - we aim for at least 5 home reads with an adult per week)
• Maths - Numbots (children will be provided with logins) and 1 minute maths (please download the free app). Year 2 will begin to access Times Table Rockstars shortly.
• A half termly project - this has been emailed to all parents. 

It is going to be another wonderful term!
